21st 0ctober and garden almost finished

This is where I train twice a week.
My blood pressure this am.
Meanwhile in the world:
Ukraine is still battling Russian invasion.
Putin is holding an anti-west conference with leaders from BRICS and others aiming to reset the balance of power and to get off the dollar as the main trading currency.
Israel is still killing in Gaza and now also in Lebanon with incursions into Syria and even Yemen. No comment as to the validity of it all but the response to October 7th last year seems monstrous to me.
In the USA Trump and Harris are in their final two weeks of campaigning, looks hard to call. Elon Musk's Space X has whizzed back into its takeoff holder - not sure what you all it but he is also endorsing Trump and also giving away millions of dollars to lucky winners who sign up to basically vote for Trump. And of course Rachel Reeves is about to make us all poorer and also tax us to the hilt. As they used to say 'and that is the world today'.

 Month started off with warm weather and a thunderstorm by the 2nd. Ophelia had to make a themed bake so this is her Jonah and the whale - with a bit of help. I took the books up to the kids school - five for each class. Felt like a nice thing to do. Have painted some quite different pictures. Moving on to Hamburg.

Had a really odd bed. Very high but each time I got on or off the slippy mattress nearly slipped off so had some tricky moves to make. However the sunset from my high window was great. Off I have been wondering about the meaning of Peace. It seems to mean the lack of violence, etc. That implies a time without something as if anyone negative.,  Yet peace is surely a positive state not a period between two periods of turmoil. Of course when I now look it up there is lots online and a Peace Academy with all this. Can I ever have an original thought,? All through this trip I have noticed people just going about their lives doing normal things like weeding or fixing a car or mowing the lawn. Families pushing children on a swing or digging in the sand. Could be anywhere. Sometimes I see a woman walking and she seems just like one I saw in a previous town. Just a woman in a coat walking. Is it the same person I saw in Harwich or Delft or a village I passed through  near Oldehove? We ar
