Unfortunately we cannot enter departures until 4 hours before our flight at 1.50am. so thanks to a fellow traveller have managed to get in to WiFi and my battery pack can at least do this. Sitting in a coffee place at the Terminal. Will get very boring. Took a walk up to the Grand mosque but small padlocks on all the doors. Some Israeli hostages have been freed not sure of their condition also Palestinians who were in Israeli prisons but hostilities will no doubt resume next week. Hostages in better shape than expected. Trying to have a sleep but no chance. Looking up towards the mosque about 50 steps though there may be a specific number. Downloaded Duolinga to improve my French. It's now 11.30pm and I've only eaten rubbish here in the airport and feeling a bit shattered since getting up at 5am 

Last few bus rides. Visited various ruins. Some hair raising drives up the huge mountains. Stopped to look at views and baboons.  Then a strawberry farm. Up in the clouds for the strawberry farm. Hills all terraced. Night in Abta. Further down south it is cooler. The clouds come down into the valleys moisture enables even wheat. Sunsets. Then fly to Riyadh in the morning.
