Off to Panama

Dragos from Ist taxi in Cirencester brought me to terminal 4 in 90 minutes. The drop off fee is now £7 . The brilliant sun was in our eyes most of the drive but it also heralded a glorious first day of halfterm.
7am leaving.
Going business class you skip through security on the fast track then breakfast in the Plaza Lounge. That is all worth quite a bit of the ticket.

Misread 1b for 16 so nearly missed flight but they phoned and I had to nearly run, to the other end of the terminal. Then once on we couldn't leave as a missing person according to passenger list. Hope I don't miss connection.
Excellent meal of couscous and falafels.
Now on board for long flight and set my watch to Panama time which is 8am so about to have another meal. Is that lunch?
Nice comfy seat on my own by the window and loo. Will change into Virgin Atlantic pyjamas and sleep.
Did just that. As we flew up at 38000 feet quite a lot of turbulence which lulled me to sleep. Then as we approached the Caribbean the sunset looked like this. We seemed to chase it but it won.
A taxi to my Bardot Boutique hotel is small with just 14 rooms but very smart.
Big walk in shower.
Early morning walk.
All this area was run down and has been transformed. Here you can see a building that is about to be. I wonder where the poor will be moved out to as the renovations creep closer and closer to their homes around the fish market.
The restaurant here at Bardot. I was told that the French make up the most tourists.
When I mentioned that old women tourists are usually safe there driver said responded 'because everyone has a mother and grandmother' so you are respected. Not sure in the UK!
