Began at Arnos Vale Cemetery then after long traffic queues got to the Archives where I found this. Our great grandfather's signature. How lovely, though it was on a plan for the new Gaol. No photograph yet though. Here is his grandfather's will. He could not write and his grandson could design great buildings. And this is his home still standing. Next door to Toolstation. A big house for a big family. Though oddly if you put in the address you get a different house. Be interested to see the garden from Google earth. I then went to the Jacobs wells baths for the tour  They are keen for a plaque so ill get that done. I like to think that Josiah is remembered. When it was used as a dance studio. I went to watch Oti in his first rugby match at his school beat Burford 8/2. As Rob says the boys all look the same BUT in the third pic Oti is standing right in the front on the right. Autumn is upon us.  What about this beautiful though quite scary caterpillar. The spike is at the back I think. It is a pale tussock. One year since we planted the River Garden. With our warming climate there are plants flowering now which of course previously would not have, like weigela, hellebore and geums coming out again. Effie turns 7.
