Il y a huit personne et une modelle. Un grosse araignee est dans la lavabo.
Aujourd hui nous sommes peintre dans le bas du moulin.
Meanwhile Eileen and Kathy have sent photos of the flowers. So next August that is my destination.
Figure drawing in the evening.
Darcey dropped a pot of boiling water over her arm and had to be quickly whisked off to hospital for bandaging. How painful.
Celebrating Sancerre wine and local cheese.
Very warm.
At Chateau du Boucard on the D74.
A hamlet of either abandoned farm buildings and cottages for sale. But plenty of farmland and tractors trundling by. Harrowing the red earth.
In nearby Le Noyer.
After lunch Anne Marie and I took a little trip to Sancerre. Cut short by a thunderstorm but just managed to snap these. The ground goes from rich red earth to white limestone

Day 4
Much cooler. After discussion we took off for a view of Sancerre. I did a pic of this though rather unsuccessfully.
Took a walk and found these enormous blackberries so if I have a tummy upset Ill know why
They were delicious.
Day 5
Still cool in the morning, a big change from what you expect in France in August.
Day 6
Only 14 degrees today and raining. We painted on the nearby farm which had this dovecote.
We sheltered in a barn. I took a drive to La Borne for old times sake and bought a little bowl for Patrick and our model Charlie.
In the evening Charlie gave us a concert of her songs.
