30th May

We came to Sighisoara rather by accident. It us all cobbles and tour groups.
Here is one of these umbrella streets which are now a thing.
Same square but 8 hours later when sun is out and rain gone.

Sheila has friends Sally and Jim who have an artisans factory making produce from local ingredients. Sally came and took us to their home us Saschiz where they have an old Saxon house. When the bought it it came furnished and full of the departed families possessions. This was after Romania became free of the USSR.
The name of the business where today they were making elderflower cordial.
Then she took us on a drive through the village and the meadows.
Local woman.
The landscape is odd. Lots of old terraces but also weird lumpy hills. Couldn't find out much about them.

Then tea at this place which we could have found. The church was locked.
And supper here at the Alta Post
These are beehives waiting to be moved around.
