30th April

Up in London for the VC GC Reunion.
Missed the train due to taking nearly 1.5 hours to get to the station. Then took the 453 bus down to Trafalgar Square. In the National Gallery there are hundreds of kids and more hundreds of visitors.
Once again it is so marvellous that we have this stunning art collection free to view for all. Every other country charges and some of their national collections aren't up to much.
Does this look a bit like mine?
We saw Rousseaus tiger in Washington years ago.
And this lovely Van Gogh I had never seen before anywhere.
The noise level is intense.
So then went to the portrait gallery which is quiet and has some great pics of well known people some painted some photos.
Met a number of GC families think two will come and give a talk. Also a police son who can perhaps help with the stolen medal.
