Had our monthly bridge foursome then Chris and I went to the Coln Swing Band but didn't take a picnic.  Hard to believe we had such awful weather earlier in the day. Now 22nd there is a Generation Bridge evening so have set up three computers we shall see how it goes.Oti got kicked in the knee and so can't really walk. The girls went on Brownie Camp and I made failed fudge for Feelies birthday using a nonstick pan which doesn't work.

On a wet though warm day. After following Waze to EyamClose we finally made it to the village and the museum. then stopped to have tea at Stella's Kitchen then on to the Barrel inn at Bretton. Bleak in winter. This newly built wall has thesejuttimg out stones at intervals. Not sure why. We were just across the valley from Eyam. a general view once you get up from the very forested area around Matlock. Woke up to this. Made our way through thefog to Eyam then to Follow which had a greenish duckpond and this tiny church. Entrance to Stella's Kitchen.
